I moved to California when I was 38 with two teenagers for a career in International Business. After many years of working in a stressful male dominated corporate environment I went back to school to study Health Science. Surprised by the intensity of the academic environment I quickly made the decision to concentrate on Somatics: the study of self-sensing. It required me to practice what I was researching and writing about. I became fascinated with the mind-body connection and it’s power to heal. I authored a book which chronicles my personal journey to overcoming chronic pain and that serves as a users’ guide to three major holistic therapies: Yoga, Somatics, & Qigong. Healing comes when we rewire neural pathways that keep our body and mind rigid. I teach my clients simple tools and practices to uncover their habitual patterns, cultivate resilience for dealing with everyday stress and increase their leadership presence.
